Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing market opportunities and program development;
  • Managing the Corporate Sponsorship and OEM /Events business;
  • Developing sales plans;
  • Managing existing and future client relationships

Skills/Requirements:
Individual must be experienced in selling sponsorship and/or drive event programs with an ability to lead sales teams; knowledge of the automotive industry; knowledge of event logistics and planning and possess the ability to travel up to 50%.

School Coordinator

Overview:
This is a schedule-driven position, sensitive to sales volume, requiring the individual to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have the flexibility to adjust to the fluctuations in the annual cycle of programs and the sales of those programs. Additionally, the position requires a person capable of acting responsible without direct supervision as well as the ability to meet situations and solve problems with initiative.

Responsibilities
Office:

  • Processing mail and bringing outgoing mail to the post office as well as collecting, sorting and distributing incoming mail into the appropriate employee mailboxes.
  • Occasionally make bank deposits for Accounting.
  • Physical inventory and stocking of all printed material used for customer mailings as frequently as necessary.
  • Daily processing of inquiries, school and series confirmation and other customer correspondence.
  • Assist with apparel inventory and fulfillment of orders.
  • When necessary, in the absence of the Administrator, produce and process all sales paperwork and school instructor packs.
  • Cover reception when required.


Track:
  • Travel to track and Laundromat as needed when programs are running.
  • Opening, set up and break down of classrooms and closet as well as ensuring all classrooms are equipped with appropriate supplies.
  • Ensure sufficient number of clean suits and helmets are available for all programs.
  • Responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and inventory of all suits and helmets.

Reports: Manager, Scheduling and Logistics

Location: Lakeville, CT

Overview: Working closely with the Scheduling Manager and Operations, the Events Scheduler assists in coordinating a yearly schedule for Retail Sales, OEM and Corporate Events. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the master schedule and operational master grid, as well as communicating any changes to the schedule to the appropriate departments company-wide. Works closely with track officials and other venders in order to ensure clear communication and a proper understanding of what is necessary to produce a Skip Barber event.

The right person for this position is a self starter with excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail, a demonstrated ability to multi-task, excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt well to changing situations.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years demonstrated experience working in a business administrative or event logistics capacity; degree in Business Administration or Management or related field a plus.

Computer Skills:

  • Must have experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word and Outlook Excel experience a must, Database experience a plus.

We are looking for a Business Support Analyst with the business savvy to quickly assess and analyze business problems and to design and implement technical solutions to address them. In addition, this individual will also be responsible for supporting all of SBRS’ business applications and developing enterprise-wide data reporting and analysis from our Great Plains ERP system and corporate website. This is a mid-to-senior level position with potential for significant growth in responsibilities. The position will expect the individual to work with internal staff and senior management as well as external vendors on a wide range of projects. The position is based out of our Lakeville, CT headquarters.
