Bruce was one of the most accomplished Formula Ford racers ever. He was a two-time pro FF champion, and was twice named Formula Magazine’s ‘‘Driver of the Year’’… At one point, Bruce held 18 track records... Bruce famously won the wet and wild Can-Am race at Lime Rock Park in 1985… He’s also a three-time winner of the notoriously tough ‘‘Longest Day at Nelson Ledges’’ race… A great teacher, Bruce has taught and nurtured an incredible amount of racing talent in his long service with Skip Barber… He’s a whiz at creating one-off engineering marvels, and is a light airplane pilot of considerable skill.
