Phil, often working Race Weekends with the Computer Car customers, is two-time SCCA Run-off competitor in Formula Continental (sixth in 2001, fourth in 2003)… He was the 2001 SCCA Northeast Division Champion in Formula Continental, and in 2000 he was both the NERRC and the NARRC champion in Formula Continental... A star karter, Phil won a bunch of national titles in different WKA classes in the early and mid-90s… Phil’s record in FC (essentially FF2000) is enviable: 29 races, 13 wins, 23 podiums, 26 top fives and only two DNFs. In 2006 at VIR, in what was his first pro FF2000 start, Phil not only took the pole, he won the race.
