Ryan started in karts and won a host of races and championships as a factory driver. He entered a few Skip Barber Eastern and Southern Series race weekends, then became a frontrunner in SCCA Regional Formula 500 – Ryan had a podium in the bag at the National Run-offs until his motor packed up... Ryan also spent time in ITB and Spec Miata competition... Started as a mechanic with Skip Barber Racing before heading to the instructor ranks. In addition to instructing at racing and driving schools, Ryan gets called for a lot of OEM Event work.
