Steve started his racing career at age 8 in karting, winning multiple regional and national championships in 15 years of competition… In 2001, his first year in race cars, he won twice in the Skip Barber Midwest Series… By 2003 and 2004 Steve was competing in FF2000 and was scoring points regularly… In August of 2006, he scored a second- and a third-place in the very competitive pro FF2000 races at Road America driving for ArmsUp Motorsports.
