1 Day Racing School
MX-5 Car or Formula Skip Barber. Formula Skip Barber or MX-5 Cup car...Can't decide which car you'd like to drive? You won't have to with the One Day Racing School. Based upon the curriculum of our One Day Racing Driving Combo, the One Day Racing School combines a morning of lead/follow lapping on-track in the open-wheel Formula Skip Barber followed by an afternoon of on-track action in the Mazda Miata-based MX-5 Cup race car. Here’s what you get:
- 60 minutes of lap time each in the Formula Skip Barber and MX-5 Cup racecars
- an understanding of vehicle dynamics
- race-style downshifting
- "competition" braking & cornering techniques
- One Day Racing School graduates are immediately eligible to enroll in the Advanced Car Control program, a Skip Barber Racing School advanced activity.
Total Program Time: 8 hours
Prerequisite: Ability to drive a manual transmission.
