1-Day High Performance Driving School

Program Overview

A high performance driving course using a stable of powerful sports cars and sport sedans. The time-proven Skip Barber formula applied to – and experienced behind the wheel of – Porsche 911, Cayman, Boxster, Lotus Elise S/C, Elise Exige, and BMW M3 (V8) (not all cars are available at all locations). Students learn in a high-octane mix of environments, including classroom, autocross and purpose-built exercise areas. Finish the day experiencing the thrill and excitement of driving a high-performance sports car on the race track.

• lead-follow on the race track
• High Performance Driving graduates are immediately eligible to enroll in the Advanced Car Control program, a Skip Barber Racing School advanced activity.

Prerequisite: Ability to drive a manual transmission. Participants will be required to sign a Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement prior to participation. The 11-turn, 2.24-mile circuit attracts all forms of motorsport, from the American Le Man Series and Champ Car to Historics and Moto GP. The track is located on the majestic Monterey Peninsula about 70 miles South of San Jose, California.
