Matt Varsha, getting some feedback from Race Series Director Todd Snyder, a few hours later started last in G1R1 but came up through the field to win decisively. Chris Hill and David Libby snagged P2 and P3, respectively.

Michael Gomez posted a fine victory in the day’s second race after duking it out with Carlos Llano and Larry Huang.

Charles Anti took advantage of a last-lap miscue by Lucas McConnell to win, with Tim Traver coming home third. NASCAR driver Ashton Lewis, Jr., got fifth, behind Wayne Williams.
