Friday, December 17, 2010, Braselton, GA– The 2011 Lotus Evora has arrived at Skip Barber Racing School with the first deliveries at Road Atanta, Braselton, Georgia and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Monterey, California. The newest addition to the High Performance Driving School fleet is a polished, versatile, light weight sports car boasting 276 horsepower that will propel students from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds.

This exclusive release of Evora models allows potential customers to choose between a one-day and two-day program to understand vehicle dynamics, learn to drive at the limit, and experience driving premium sports cars on the race track. The Evora joins the BMW M3, Lexus ISF, Porsche 911, Cayman, and Boxster allowing students to compare the handling characteristics of each manufacturer.

“This marks the transition from current Lotus school cars, the Elise SC and Exige S, to the next lineage of Lotus,” says Manager of OEM Sponsorship Walter Irvine, “it’s a more user friendly version of the Elise, but doesn’t lose any of its legendary tactile feel, braking, cornering, and especially world class steering response”.
