Skip Barber Racing School and RACER Magazine Announce Strategic PartnershipJul 25, 2014
Braselton, Ga. (July 25, 2014) – RACER Magazine, the premier motorsports enthusiast publication, and Skip Barber Racing School, the industry leader in driver excellence, today announced a strategic partnership that brings together two organizations that cultivate passion for motorsports. RACER Magazine will be an Official Media Partner of the Skip Barber Race Series and Skip Barber Racing School will be an Official Racing School of RACER Magazine. The joint initiative will continue throughout 2015.
Through the partnership, Skip Barber will receive key positioning in-book and through RACER Magazine’s digital channels. Additionally, up-and-coming talent from the Skip Barber Race Series will have the opportunity to be featured in the magazine. Skip Barber and RACER shall present a “Racer Magazine Top Gun Award” to each winner of the following Skip Barber Race Series events: the Indy Car Academy Shootout, the Championship Shootout, and the Karts to Cars Shootout.

We also have a history of working together to nurture and promote deserving young drivers such as 2014 Indy 500 winner and Skip Barber graduate Ryan Hunter-Reay.”
Through the partnership RACER will collaborate with Skip Barber to activate the passionate influencers and educate students about all areas of motorsports in the world through a special digital subscription to the Magazine. RACER Magazine will be distributed to the top tier of enthusiasts within the Skip Barber race series and advanced racing programs. The partnership encompasses RACER magazine, Racer.com, and all Skip Barber Race Series events that travel to locations across the country including but not limited to Lime Rock, CT, Road Atlanta, GA, Sebring, FL, and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, CA.
