Mar 13, 2018

Skip Barber Racing School, under new management, announced today that they have completed their inaugural event, a 3 Day Racing School at Road Atlanta.
“The new and improved Skip Barber Racing School is a perfect marriage of the world renowned curriculum and instructors that were the foundation of Skip Barber Racing School, and the pristine equipment and operational know-how of DeMonte Motorsports” said Anthony DeMonte, CEO of Skip Barber Racing School.
Terry Earwood, Chief Instructor of Skip Barber Racing School from 1984 to 2017 and current SCCA Trans-Am Driver Development Manager, has joined the revival of the iconic school as Chief Instructor. Terry brings with him 35+ years of driver instruction, and a curriculum he has perfected over that period.
“We spent the last four months interviewing and vetting instructors across North America and have assembled a team of the most experienced and talented professionals in the industry” commented DeMonte.
“With Terry at the helm of the program, we are able to achieve our goal of having the best driving and racing school instructors in the world; now that the team is in place, we are truly reviving the school and culture that Skip Barber built in 1975.”
Skip Barber Racing School has over 85 school dates planned for the 2018 season. Programs range from the Teen Safety and Survival driving school through their signature 3 Day Racing School and 2 Day Advanced Racing School.
