Skip Barber Racing School recently announced that it has added dates at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for 2018.

Starting in November, Skip Barber Racing School will head out west to offer its full gamut of racing and driving schools including the 3 Day Racing School, 2 Day Advanced Racing School and the Teen Safety and Survival School.

“After the success we have had on the East Coast at Lime Rock Park and New Jersey Motorsports, we knew it was time to get another iconic racetrack on the schedule and Laguna Seca fit that bill,” SBRS CEO Anthony DeMonte said. “We will start offering classes out west in November and will stay on the West Coast through February 2019 before heading to the Southeast.”

Built in 1957, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is a 2.2-mile, 11-turn rollercoaster of a racetrack located on California’s central coast. Home to many major motorsports events, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is best known for “The Corkscrew” – the combo of Turn 8 and 8a where the track drops the equivalent of 5 ½ stories in only 450 of track length!
