Are they good enough?!? That’s the question Shifting Lanes had when they came out to Skip Barber Racing School to sample Fiat’s latest line up of Abarth modified 500c and 124 Spider’s at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

At the 1 Day Racing School the drivers got a full taste of how the Fiat Abarth upgrades make these hot Fiat’s the perfect option for spirited driving. Going through skidpad and autocross exercises, the Fiat’s highlighted their nimble handling characteristics, easily navigating the tight and twisty course. On the race track, the turbo-charged 4-cylinder’s had more than enough punch to put down some blazingly fast laps! Finally, a hot lap in the Abarth 124 Rally car, equipped with a 300hp turbo motor, paddle shifted 6 speed transmission, and some trick suspension pieces, capped off a really great day!
