New Tracks, New Experiences

The addition of offerings by the Skip Barber Racing School at two of the world’s legendary tracks has made an exciting course offering even more complete.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has a long history of hosting the world’s largest motorsports event – the 400,000 seats make it the 48th largest city in the United States for the annual running of the 500. The Brickyard, as it’s known since its 2.5 miles were once paved entirely with bricks, is an American icon.  With the addition of a Skip Barber Racing School featuring the new F4 open-wheel cars in addition to the race-prepared Mustang GT’s offers eager race car drivers the chance to navigate a historic track while learning from the finest instructors in the business.

The second track added to the Skip Barber Racing School line-up is The Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Known by its acronym, COTA, the track hosts the US Grand Prix, a deciding race in the competition for the Formula 1 World Championship. COTA is a road course with a very dramatic nature. Known for the layout which includes an 11-degree hill and hard left turn at Turn 1, the course runs 3.43 miles through the Texas Hill Country.

There is no thrill like Formula car racing, and the schools at both tracks offer comprehensive training by race-proven instructors who are not only teachers, they’re mentors a difference that every School graduate can appreciate.
