Skip Barber Racing wraps up another SRX Season

The Skip Barber Racing School is proud to play a pivotal role in the logistical and operational program of the Camping World SRX Series. If you’ve ever been to or watched an SRX race event on TV, it’s likely that you will have seen our Mack Anthem haulers in the infield with our marquee tents covering the cars. Many individuals working in the infield wearing SRX apparel are Skip Barber Racing School employees who, when not traveling with SRX, support our many race schools or our TCA America and GT4 America race programs.

Our crews spend countless hours at the track unpacking equipment, preparing cars, and packing it all up again for the next week – not to mention the thousands of miles of travel in between. All of that made the final two rounds of this year’s Camping World SRX Series so much more special to us at Skip Barber when Austin Dillon at Eldora and Ernie Francis Jr. at Lucas Oil Speedway took to the track in cars bearing the Skip Barber Racing School logo.

While we couldn’t be prouder of the job we do on behalf of SRX, we’re also incredibly grateful for the experiences the series provides us. Spending extended periods working with and around some of the greatest drivers in the world offers invaluable insight and expertise to our crews.

For some drivers, it’s not their first experience with Skip Barber. Ryan Newman and Hailie Deegan, for example, both trained with us in our Ford Mustang GTs to take their road course racing to the next level. Marco Andretti competed in the Skip Barber National Championship during the early stages of his career. Reigning Indianapolis 500 winner Josef Newgarden, who spent one week on the SRX tour, started his career at the Skip Barber Racing School with a three-day school at the Daytona International Speedway.
