About The Skip Barber Race Series

Veteran Instructors

Skip Barber Race Series instructors bring centuries worth of racing experience and unique perspectives. With the Skip Barber Race Series, all competitors have equal access to Skip Barber Race Series instructors, personalized video and data analysis, and bespoke training plans designed around each driver’s development priorities.

Industry Training & Access

Becoming a successful racer does not end once you leave the track. How a driver navigates their race team, sponsors, and marketing opportunities is equally important as their skill behind the wheel. With the Skip Barber Race Series, we expose drivers to sponsorship strategies and materials preparation, media relations, race operations, and team dynamics. Competitors in the Skip Barber Race Series have met Ross Chastain, benefited from VIP access at countless NASCAR events, and sat on the pit box of IMSA races.

Unrivaled Track Access

Skip Barber Race Series drivers can access season-long training and lapping opportunities through the Skip Barber Racing School. This includes Private Coaching days at many of the tracks on the 2025 Skip Barber Race Series calendar. Through the Skip Barber Race Series, you can compete on iconic tracks such as Sebring International Raceway, Circuit of the Americas, and VIRginia International Raceway. With an emphasis on clean competition, Skip Barber Race Series events have some of the highest percentages of green flag running.

The Race Car

Crafted completely from carbon fiber, the FIA homologated monocoque is paired with a 160HP turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Power is transmitted to the rear tires through a paddle-shifted SADEV sequential 6-speed, propelling this 1,200 lbs rocket to 60 mph in under 4 seconds.

Whether you are looking for the ultimate open-wheel driving experience, or preparing to dominate formula car championships across the globe, the Skip Barber Formula Car is the culmination of Skip Barber’s 40+ years of building champions.
