Skip Barber Race Series

Since 1976, the Skip Barber Race Series has served as the world’s premier driver development series. Alexander Rossi, Josef Newgarden, Sergio Perez, Jordan Taylor, and countless others began their careers in racing with the Skip Barber Race Series for a reason.

The Skip Barber Race Series utilizes our Skip Barber Formula Car.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create the ultimate, driver-development-focused racing series in the world. To do that, we place an emphasis on clean racing that keeps the track green and the safety car parked. We pull back the curtain and allow all drivers access to each other's telemetry and we highlight every driver's personal accomplishments.

Our Goals

A school is nothing without its alumni. That's why our primary goal for the Skip Barber Race Series is to create the next generation of champions. Our past drivers have risen into the highest ranks of open wheel racing in North America and Europe. Meanwhile, others have found success in the most prestigious sports car races in the world.

Professional Instructors

The most experienced Skip Barber Racing School instructors work with every driver in the Race Series to improve their pace and battle for victories. These instructors bring a range of experience including sim-racing and even as drivers in the Race Series!

Equalized Cars

The Skip Barber Race Series utilizes our fleet of Skip Barber Formula Cars and each driver is randomly assigned a chassis at the start of the weekend. In 2025, eight different chassis found the top step of the podium!

Marketing Support

Work with Skip Barber Racing School's marketing team to become a more well-rounded driver off of the track. Improve your social media presence, receive complimentary photography from every event, and more!

Professional Events

Compete on some of the biggest stages in North America as a support series to professional events such as SRO America or Trans-Am. Or gain extra track time with events run alongside Skip Barber Racing School programs.
