Road Atlanta

Anything But Petit

Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta's 2.540-mile course has remained unchanged since 1998 and has presented teams, drivers, and the world's automotive giants with one final challenge to end their season in the form of the 10-hour long sports car race; Petit Le Mans.

The track's dramatic elevation changes present to drivers walls of tarmac that they must scale before cresting a blind apex and descending into the esses -- where championships have been lost more often than won. A short straight deeper into the forests reveals a pair of right-handed turns that place the driver back on their way home with the track's best passing opportunity leaving you one more moment to catch your breath before dropping into the front stretch to start it all over again.
