The track's most famous corner, The Corkscrew, is a 60-foot drop after a blind apex where there has been no shortage of iconic moments in motorsport's history.

Away from the track you'll find some of the nation's best golf courses and exquisite dining with the Monterey Peninsula offering plenty of accommodations.

Dress In Layers

It's best to dress for a variety of weather conditions at Laguna Seca. Weather can be unpredictable, especially in the mornings when the region's infamous marine layer blankets the track -- just don't call it fog!

From traditional hotel establishments, to AirBnBs, to more boutique bread-and-breakfasts in the surrounding towns such as Carmel-By-The-Sea, there is a plethora of accommodations in the region.

Getting There

The two most popular options for traveling to Laguna Seca are flying directly to Monterey Regional Airport or flying into one of the Bay Area airports such as San Francisco (two-hour drive) or San Jose (90-minute drive).

Other Points

The Monterey Peninsula offers no shortage of activities from world-class golfing at Pebble Beach and Cypress Point or an evening on the Old Fisherman's Wharf pier.
