New Jersey Motorsports Park

A Hidden Gem

A staple of club racing and America’s grassroots motorsports community, New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) presents drivers with two unique layouts: Thunderbolt and Lightning.

Each track traces its name back to two of America’s most iconic World War II fighter planes, the P-47 Thunderbolt and the P-38 Lightning that both flew from the Millville Army Air Field that neighbors the 500-acre facility. Located in Southern New Jersey, the track can easily be reached from Pennsylvania, Delaware, or New York.

KEYS TO NJMP

Thunderbolt vs. Lightning

New Jersey Motorsports Park features two completely independent tracks: Thunderbolt and Lightning. Due to the evolving nature of track availability, we are unable to guarantee a specific track that will be used for a specific program.

Hotels

The nearby towns of Millville and Vineland offer a variety of traditional hotel accommodations. Atlantic City (approx. 60-minute drive) is also an option for those who don't mind the drive.

Getting There

The most popular option for traveling to New Jersey Motorsports Park is flying into Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). Traveling into New York and visiting the Skip Barber Simulator Center in Holbrook is also an option.

Other Points

With its ground-breaking ceremony in 2007 and its inaugural race in 2008, New Jersey Motorsports Park is one of the newest racing venues in the nation.
