2010-2011 Winter Western Opener at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

Tuesday, November 16, 2010 A week ago, the Skip Barber competitors gathered together at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to kick off the 2010-2011 Western Formula Series Season. Thomas McGregor, the biggest winner of the weekend, went home with wins in both of his first two races, and Kenton Koch and Tristan Nunez each took a win as well. Sebastian Ordonez and Scott Anderson proved to be strong competitors as well, keeping pace with the race leaders and staying in the front pack. Looking ahead to the next Western Formula Series race event at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca December 11-12, McGregor and Koch are currently tied for first in the Western Championship standings.
