The Skip Barber Race Series will begin its 2024 season at Sebring International Raceway this weekend. Drivers, including a number of top karters, will compete for $375,000 in scholarships over the 14-race season. Among the names entered for the 2024 Skip Barber Race Series are Andretti Autosport junior development driver Oliver Wheldon, karters Caleb Campbell and Ryan Giannetta, as well as twin brothers Rob and Tom Tarlton who return for a second season of competition in the Master’s Class. Throughout the summer, the Skip Barber Race Series will visit six iconic venues including Sebring, Circuit of the Americas and VIRginia International Raceway. The champion will receive a $100,000 scholarship to compete in a USF-sanctioned series. Second place in the championship receives a full-season entry into the 2025 Skip Barber Race Series while third place receives a half-season entry for the 2025 season. Competitors in the Skip Barber Race Series receive one-on-one coaching from expert instructors, video and data analysis, extensive testing opportunities, and insight into marketing and partnership strategies.
