Skip Barber graduates finish 1-2 in the NTT INDYCAR Series finale at Long Beach. Colton Herta goes back-to-back wins after winning last week’s race at Laguna Seca. Herta rebounded from starting 14th after hitting the wall in qualifying. Josef Newgarden finished runner-up in both the race and in the points standings for the 2021 season. Newgarden started the race from the pole and led 18 of 85 laps. 
Another duo of Skip Barber graduates placed on the podium this weekend in NASCAR at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Hometown hero, Kyle Busch finished third in the Cup Series race after starting from 10th. Busch also sits a comfortable third place in the current Playoffs standings. Christian Eckes claimed his first win in the Camping World Truck Series after taking the lead in the final restart and holding on for a wild 4-lap shootout. Eckes also led a historic sweep of the Top 4 for the ThorSport Racing team.
