In the NASCAR Cup Series race, Chris Buescher rounded out the podium after avoiding the chaos in the final restart. Buescher’s podium would mark his first Top 5 finish of the season. 
Jordan Taylor contributed to a Corvette 1-2 finish in the GTLM class in this weekend’s IMSA Michelin GT Challenge at VIRginia International Raceway. The No. 3 Corvette Racing Chevrolette Corvette C8.R missed out on the pole position by 0.003 seconds. Another pair of runner-up finishes came from Bryan Sellers in the GTD class and Trent Hindman in the GS class. 
William Lambros claimed back-to-back wins at the NASANE “Thunder at the Glen” at Watkins Glen International behind the wheel of his No. 777 Spec Miata.
