Skip Barber graduates Bobby Labonte and Marco Andretti top the race results in the Superstar Racing Experience race at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. Labonte secured his first win but has been the dominating driver so far this year, currently leading the points standings and has the most laps led. Andretti's runner-up finish at Music City is his second second-place finish in a row. Andretti sits second in the points standings, only 3 points back from Labonte. The final driver in the SRX points standings is fellow Skip Barber graduate Ryan Newman, only 2 points behind Andretti.Two Skip Barber alumni fought their way into the Top 3 in the NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The Watermelon Man Ross Chastain finished runner-up in a wild race that ended with the caution flag. Chastain battled at the front of the field in his No. 1 Trackhouse Chevrolet as he led 32 laps throughout his day. On the podium's final step was the driver of the No. 2 Team Penske Ford, Austin Cindric. Cindric also found himself at the front of the field and was also able to lead laps and put himself in position for his third Top-5 finish this season.Austin Hill wins his second race of the year at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race. The Georgia native won at his home track for the first time in his career by a narrow .111-second finish. Hill led a race-high of 73 laps in his No. 21 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet as he scored his eighth Top-5 finish.
Skip Barber graduates nearly locked out the Top 5 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Parker Kligerman claimed the win behind the wheel of the No. 75 Henderson Racing Chevrolet in dominating fashion, leading 56 of the 67 laps. Kligerman visited Skip Barber Racing School at 15 to transition from karts to open-wheel cars before making his eventual move into stock cars. He competed in 3 Skip Barber Formula Race Series events and won all of them! Joining Kligerman in the Top 5 was Zane Smith in second place, Carson Hocevar in third place, and Christian Eckes in fifth place. Smith, Hocevar, and Eckes are recent graduates of Skip Barber's Advanced Coaching program.
