Alexander Rossi piloted his No. 27 Andretti Autosport Honda to victory at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, concluding an unusual 49-race winless streak. Rossi led a race-high of 44 of 85 completed laps. The Indiana victory would mark Rossi’s eighth career victory. Fellow Skip Barber graduate Josef Newgarden finished his day in fifth. Sergio Perez drove his way to a fifth-place finishing result in the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Mexican driver started eleventh and was able to claim his tenth top-5 finish of the season. Perez is currently placed third in the F1 points standings. Three of the Top 5 finishers in the NASCAR Cup Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course were Skip Barber graduates. Austin Cindric survived the late race drama and finished runner-up, his fourth Top 5 finish. Harrison Burton drove his way to third, his personal best NASCAR Cup Series finish of his career. Rounding out the Top 5 was Bubba Wallace in his No. 23 23XI Racing Toyota. A.J. Allmendinger dominated the Xfinity Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Allmendinger led 42 of the 62 laps on his way to his third Xfinity Series victory of the season. The driver of the No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet leads the way in the NASCAR Xfinity Series points standings. Ross Chastain delivered DGM Racing their best Xfinity Series finish ever after wheeling the No. 92 Chevrolet to fourth. In this past weekend’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, the first since 2011, Grant Enfinger prevailed in the overtime finish to pick up his first win of the season. Enfinger’s win automatically advances him to the next round of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Playoffs.
