Skip Barber Racing School graduate Sergio Perez finished the Belgian Grand Prix in seventh and set the fastest lap of the race at the iconic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. Perez started the 44-lap race from the front row of the grid. Red Bull Racing opted to bring Perez into the pits with two laps remaining in an attempt to snag the fastest lap of the race, and thus the bonus point that comes with it. Perez will enter the summer break seventh in the World Driver’s Championship while Red Bull Racing stands at the top of the World Manufacture Championship. Coming up this weekend, IMSA descends on Road America for the IMSA SportsCar Weekend. Skip Barber Racing will bring an entry to IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge featuring NASCAR star and Skip Barber Racing School graduate Ross Chastain and IMSA Diverse Driver Development winner Ken Fukuda.
