ARCA Crown and IMSA Wins for Skip Barber Alumni!

Alumni of the Skip Barber Racing School amassed multiple victories in a variety of IMSA series at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend, including in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and a sweep of the Master's Class in Porsche Carrera Cup, North America. Plus, one rising talent and Skip Barber graduate captured the ARCA Menards Series East crown in Bristol.

Moisey Uretsky and Michael Cooper joined forces to deliver their third victory of the season in the ultra-competitive Grand Sport class of IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge; no other team or driver has more than one victory. An additional eight Skip Barber graduates finished in the top-ten of the MPC race with Sean McAlister (3rd), Austin Krainz (5th), Hannah Greenemeier (6th), Robert Noaker (7th), Ford Koch and Jaxon Bell (8th), Mikey Taylor (9th), and David Hampton (10th). In TCR, alumni Eduardo Gou finished fourth.

In Porsche Carrera Cup, North America graduates Richard Edge and Marco Cirone combined to sweep the weekend in the Series' Masters class with Edge taking the victory in Race 1 and Cirone in Race 2. Fellow graduate Aaron Jeansonne, meanwhile, captured the overall victory in Race 2, adding an exclamation mark to his weekend which began with a podium finish in Race 1.

Daniel Formal's Lamborghini Super Trofeo campaign continued with a victory in the opening race of the weekend, followed by a runner-up finish in Race 2. Formal is tied for the lead of the Pro-Am championship standings with just a pair of races left: the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final in Monza. Fellow Pro-Am competitor Lindsay Brewer also earned a pair of podium finishes. Alumni Cooper Broll, meanwhile, scored a second-place finish in the Am class.

The weekend was capped off by Skip Barber graduates Patrick Gallagher and Robby Foley capturing the victory in the GT Daytona class of the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship race. A mere six points is all that remains between Gallagher and Foley and the GTD title, meaning everything is up for grabs at Petit Le Mans in two weeks. In GTP, graduates Jordan Taylor (4th) and Colin Braun (5th) finished in the top-five.

Meanwhile, in Bristol, Skip Barber alumni Tristan McKee kicked off a week of night racing from the Last Great Coliseum by clinching the ARCA Menards Series East title courtesy of a runner-up finish in the series' 200-lap race. That pattern of success continued as the weekend progressed with alumni Jake Garcia scoring his first career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victory before Joey Logano capped off the weekend with a win in the NASCAR Cup Series race.

In addition to his ARCA Menards Series duties, McKee finished fifth in the Truck Series race along with fellow alumni Grant Enfinger, who rounded out the top-ten. In the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race, it was Parker Retzlaff (8th) and Sammy Smith (10th) who ended the night as the best-placed Skip Barber alumni. Carson Hocevar (3rd), Josh Berry (6th), and Bubba Wallace (7th) also finished in the top-ten in the Cup Series.
