VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from our Formula Race Series drivers after their last race weekend at the 3.27-mile road course. Race 1 Winner Jeshua Alianell spoke very highly of the facility. "VIR is a super fast roller coaster," Alianell said. "The cars feel amazing through the uphill esses and the track is very rewarding when you get it right." Skip Barber Formula iRacing Series Runner-Up Elvis Rankin had a blast experiencing VIR for the first time. "All the corners linked up to an opportunity," Rankin said. "The low-speed technical parts in sector 1 and the high-speed roller coaster section all flow really well together." For those new to the Skip Barber Formula car, Skip Barber Race Series veteran and VIR podium finisher William Lambros says you should look no further than VIR. "It was a great track to really learn how to drive the car," Lambros said. "It's a simple road course to learn, but to be competitive, it becomes very complicated. But thankfully, the Skip Barber instructors were there to help me get to that point."
