New 'Racer Rewards' program applies to all F2000 Regional and the two MAZDASPEED Challenge championships. The openers for both are at a great track we've never been to before: Carolina Motorsports Park, just south of Charlotte.
LAKEVILLE, Conn. – Listening to what our racers have been telling us, Skip Barber Racing has just announced an all-new "Racer Rewards" program. We'll get right to the point: Any driver that completes five (5) of six (6) Race Weekends in either the Southern or Western F2000 Regional Series, or four (4) of five (5) MAZDASPEED Challenge weekends in either the South or West, will be rewarded with a Race Weekend (value $2,999). It's your choice of Regional open-wheel or MAZDASPEED Challenge. And you get 12 months to use it, too. Why are we doing this? Because we’ve been listening to you, and have heard your suggestions. So now we’re going to reward, with significant seat time, those drivers who complete nearly an entire championship – regardless of where they finish in points. Even as the Skip Barber Race Series prepares for the finale weekends of the Eastern and Midwest Series (Sept. 12-13 at Lime Rock, and Sept. 27- 28 at Road America, respectively), we're revving up for the start of the both the F2000 Southern Series and the MAZDASPEED Challenge South championship.
Both series open at a very cool track we've never been to before: Carolina Motorsports Park, in Kershaw, S.C. Easy to get to, too: This relatively new facility is about an hour south of Charlotte, N.C.

More good news: All 2008-2009 Race Series and MAZDASPEED Challenge prices are staying the same. For another season we're going to absorb the higher fuel costs and not pass them on.
More more good news: You told us you liked the 15% pre-pay discount we offered three years ago – so we're bringing it back. You can grab that big discount on your racing if you pay a full season up-front. The deadlines for the pre-payment are October 3 for the Southern Series, and October 10 for the Western Series and the two MAZDASPEED Challenge championships. Again due to what you've been telling us, we're announcing another pre-pay option, one we've never offered before: a 10% discount for any Race Weekend, if you make the payment no later than 60 days prior to that race weekend. All drivers – series veterans, racing school grads, even those who've yet to enroll in a Three Day School -- that want to take advantage of these enhancements for the 2008-2009 racing season are welcome to call a School & Series Advisor at 800.221.1131.
