The brand-new circuit to TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School was no match for the Skip Barber Race Team as they went four-for-four on podium finishes. NOLA Motorsports Park hosted its first-ever SRO race weekend and put on an exciting weekend of action.Kevin Boehm was at the top of the charts in the first practice, while his class teammate Ken Fukuda placed fourth. Practice 2 led to comparable results for the TC duo as Boehm placed second and Fukuda sixth. Carter Fartuch piloted the brand-new 2022 Gen 11 HPD Civic Si in TCA to first in both practice sessions. Colin Harrison shined on the new circuit as he placed sixth in Practice 1 and tenth in Practice 2 as times began to fall as temperatures rose in the Big Easy.
As Saturday's qualifying session approached, so did the threat of wet weather. With the right strategy call and skilled drivers in challenging conditions, the Skip Barber Race Team completed qualifying with all drivers placing in the Top 5. Boehm put his No. 9 Skip Barber Racing School / Crowdstrike / AWS HPD Civic Type-R on the pole in TC while Fukuda wheeled his No. 42 Skip Barber Racing School HPD Civic Type-R to an impressive fifth-place starting spot. Carter Fartuch nearly missed the pole but secured a front-row starting spot in second, while Harrison achieved a fifth-place qualifying time.
As the green flag flew, Boehm successfully held the lead from the start, defending from the closing in competition, and won his third race of the year in his third start. Mechanical issues affected Fukuda, ending his weekend early. In TCA competition, Fartuch was able to pass the leader early on and held the lead to the checkered flag to pick up the win behind the wheel of the No. 16 Skip Barber Racing School 2022 Gen 11 HPD Civic Si. Harrison could not show his real speed as unavoidable contact in the first lap damaged his car and placed the No. 2 Skip Barber Racing School HPD Civic Si in eleventh place. 
The grid for Race 2 was set by using lap times from Race 1, placing Boehm pole, Fartuch second, and Harrison seventh. Kevin jumped to the lead early on but was passed late in the race, causing him to lose two positions and settle for third place. In the TCA field, Fartuch faced a similar fate to Boehm's after two cars passed him early in the race, pushed hard to maintain, and held on to third for the entire race. Harrison had better luck in Race 2 as he finished his weekend in seventh place.
