Alexander Rossi snags a critical pole point.
ELKHART LAKE, Wis. – In qualifying for the Skip Barber National’s second race at the Road America Champ Car event, race one poleman Charles Anti remained quick, but this front row is occupied by the drivers who are respectively third and second in points: Alexander Rossi and Marco Di Leo. Anti will start third, while points leader Jonathan Goring qualified fifth, two-tenths behind an impressive Jonathan Gore. Revere Greist, who will start on the outside front row for today’s race, will start sixth Sunday. Mario Adrian Ochoa, Kyle Lawrence, Alex Doman and Timmy Megenbier round out the top 10. Julia Landauer pipped Peter Husser for dibs on the sixth row, while Jason Fennessey and Paul Albert will ride shotgun on the field. Rossi credits his move from third in yesterday’s qualifying to first today to two things: ‘‘I got two drafts , and, well, I was braking much better today – maybe 50 feet deeper in some places.’’

Charles Anti proved yesterday's pole for race one was no fluke, qualifying in P3 for the Sunday race..
Jonathan Gore is another Skip Barber Regional stand-out who's running up front this weekend in the National.
Jonathan Goring was markedly better in race-two qualifying -- fifth, versus his fifth row spot in today's race.
