Skip Barber Racing's TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School team delivered another steady weekend despite the boiling Sebring sun creating tough conditions for the drivers, cars, and team on Mother's Day weekend. Dean Lambros, in the No. 7 Skip Barber Racing School Acura Integra Type-S, earned a pair of top-five finishes, including the Hard Charger Award in Race 2. In both races, Lambros and Skip Barber Racing was the highest-finishing Acura as the team maximized the potential of the car in the difficult conditions. With those top-five finishes in hand, Lambros is now 12 points behind second-place in the Drivers' Standings. Skip Barber Racing also cut the gap to second in the Teams' Championship to 15 points. "It was a very hard-fought weekend with some very high temperatures," Lambros said. "Our team did a fantastic job the whole weekend. We look to be strong at Road Atlanta next month!" Meanwhile, Logan Anderson was the next-best Acura in both races, netting a pair of seventh-place finishes. It was an otherwise quiet weekend for Anderson, who continues to hone his touring car skillset in his rookie season. "I'm really proud of how the team battled this weekend," Skip Barber Racing team manager Gaby Gonzalez said. "The conditions certainly presented us with some challenges and the changing track temperatures between sessions really tested our setups. We rallied through some stuff, got both cars across the line in both races, and maximized what we could." Skip Barber Racing and TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School will return to Road Atlanta in one month on June 12–14.
