Skip Barber Alumni drove their way to a podium finish across all 3 of NASCAR's series this weekend at Phoenix Raceway. Ross Chastain finished runner-up in this past weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series race. Chastain’s second place finish is his second consecutive top-three finish for the Trackhouse Racing organization. Chastain has visited the Skip Barber Racing School on numerous occasions for private coaching, most recently at Road Atlanta. Noah Gragson claimed his first win of the 2022 season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race. The driver of the No. 9 Chevrolet led a race-high of 114 of 200 laps on his way to his sixth career Xfinity Series victory. Gragson also visited Skip Barber Racing School recently for a private coaching day at Circuit of the America to sharpen his skills for road course races. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race saw Skip Barber graduates finishing 1-2 as Chandler Smith claimed the win over his team owner Kyle Busch. In a late-race restart that saw five different leaders in the final 11 laps, Smith was able to power away from the rest of the field and claim his third Camping World Truck Series career victory. Smith and Busch both visited Skip Barber Racing School ahead of last year’s inaugural NASCAR race at Circuit of the Americas.
