F1 – Sergio Perez finished third in the French Grand Prix. The Skip Barber grad passed Bottas for the third-place position in the closing laps, securing his second podium finish of the year. Perez also sits third in the points standings behind Verstappen and Hamilton. 
NASCAR – Skip Barber alumni made their way onto the podium in NASCAR Cup, XFINITY, and Camping World Truck Series races at NASCAR’s return to Nashville Superspeedway. In the Cup Series race, Ross Chastain wheeled his No. 42 Chip Ganassi Chevrolet to a career best, second-place finish. A combination of pit strategy and Chastain’s ability behind the wheel pushed the team into podium position in the final green flag run. 
Kyle Busch clicked off his 100th Xfinity Series win in dominating fashion after leading 122 of 189 laps. Busch is the only driver in Xfinity Series history to click off a triple-digit win count. Fellow Skip Barber grad Harrison Burton maintained the third-place spot from flag to flag. Grant Enfinger was the highest finishing Skip Barber graduate in the Truck Series race. Enfinger piloted his No. 98 Toyota to a third-place podium finish and led 36 laps. IndyCar – Andretti Autosport driver Colton Herta delivered a runner-up finish at Road America. Herta’s second-place finish marked his second podium finish of the year and boosts the team’s confidence going into the latter half of the season. 
SRX – In her first start in the Camping World Superstar Racing Experience, Hailie Deegan finished second to SRX co-founder Tony Stewart at Knoxville Raceway. Deegan joined Skip Barber for coaching before the inaugural NASCAR at COTA Race in May of 2021. The Skip Barber grad missed out on Friday’s practice due to her conflicting schedule with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and was still able to outperform many legends in the field including fellow Skip Barber alumni like Helio Castroneves and Marco Andretti.
