Indianapolis Motor Speedway was the home for American motorsports this weekend. NASCAR Cup, NASCAR Xfinity and IndyCar hosted their races on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. Skip Barber graduates were on the podium in every single race. 
In Saturday’s IndyCar race, Colton Herta piloted his No. 26 Andretti Autosport Honda to a third-place finish. Herta rolled off from the fifth-place spot and showed impressive speed throughout the race and battled his way to the podium. The Skip Barber graduate’s performance at Indy would mark his third podium finish of the 2021 season. 
Skip Barber graduates swept the podium in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race. On the top step was Austin Cindric, A.J. Allmendinger finished runner-up, and Justin Haley rounded out the podium. Cindric dominated the race, winning by over 2 seconds. Allmendinger had a solid run as he not only finished second but also claimed a win in Stage 1. Haley maintained a clean race and led laps on his way to his third Top 5 finish of the season. 
In the weekend finale NASCAR Cup Series race, Allmendinger doubled up on podium finishes and took advantage of closing lap chaos to win his second Cup Series race of his career. Allmendinger has two Top 5 finishes in only his fourth start in his part-time Cup Series career. In his full-time XFINITY Series run, Allmendinger is second in points and is looking to win his first NASCAR championship.
