NASCAR: Yesterday, Skip Barber alumni Kyle Busch followed up his first win of the season at Kansas last week with a third place in the NASCAR Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway in his throwback M&M theme #18 Toyota Camry. After leading 8 laps, Busch would find himself to the back of the pack after experiencing a puncture tire, only to fight through traffic to cross the checkered in 3rd. Congrats on a great drive!
F1: Sergio Pérez, Skip Barber Alumni, places fifth in the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday. Perez competed in the Skip Barber National Championship in 2004. Pérez races for Red Bull Racing; has ten podiums and the highest grid position of P2 and had his first win in Formula 1 last year.
