1888-1Court Vernon picked up his second and third poles of the year in Friday qualifying

Leeds, Ala. (July 17) – MAZDASPEED Development driver Court Vernon swept pole for Rounds 7 & 8 of the 2009 BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National Presented by Mazda. In a rare, back-to-back double qualifying session, the Key Biscayne, Fla. driver nipped point leader Connor De Phillippi by .254 of a second in Session 1 and an even closer .006 of a second in Session 2. Felipe Polehtto, Kyle Marcelli and Sean Rayhall round out the top five qualifying positions for Saturday afternoon’s race while Michael Vincec, Marcelli and Polehtto complete the top five for Sunday’s Race 2.
