With the return of Cooper Broll and the addition of James Klimas, the Skip Barber Race Team will bring a total of six cars across three different series to the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the season finale of SRO America racing.

Celso Neto - #7 Honda Civic Type-R Neto collected his ninth podium of the season in Sebring, shoring up his third-place position in the overall standings. With cooler temperatures forecasted and the layout of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, Neto is confident of the team’s chances this weekend. Neto: “’I’m very excited for our last race weekend of the 2023 TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School season. It’s a bit sad that our season is wrapping up but I’m happy with the performance of our whole team throughout the season. “I’m looking to get our first win of the year and fight for the P2 spot in the championship this weekend. Indianapolis is a track I really like, and it suits our Honda Civic Type-R well, especially since we will have colder temperatures. “I want to thank all my sponsors and the Skip Barber Race Team that made this year possible and everyone on the team that has worked extremely hard since day one to give us the opportunity to fight upfront!” Jeremiah Burton - #34 Honda Civic Type-R Burton collected his fifth top-five finish of the season at Sebring. Since joining the team partway through the season at Circuit of the Americas, the Donut Media rookie has shown consistency and maturity in racing above his experience levels. He’ll be looking to finally break onto the podium this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Cooper Broll - #19 Honda Civic Si FE1 Cooper was forced to miss out on the Sebring weekend due to an illness, but he returns to the team for the season finale. Broll has two top-five finishes this season and is aiming to come back stronger than ever for the double-header in Indianapolis this weekend. Cooper: “I’m super excited to drive at Indy for my first time, given that the Brickyard is hallowed ground in car racing. I am especially looking forward to getting back into the Honda Civic Si FE1, given the disappointment I felt after missing Sebring due to COVID complications. The Honda is running really well right now, and the conditions this weekend seem ideal for it. Hoping for a clean race with lots of battles to end the season on a high note!” William Lambros - #77 Honda Civic Si FE1 After scoring back-to-back podiums at Sebring, Lambros enters the season finale hotter than he has been all season. With a 31-point margin in hand, Lambros has third place in the championship standings firmly in his grasp. He stood on the top step of the podium when the Skip Barber Race Series visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2021 and he’ll have his eyes set on the same goal this year. Lambros: “I’m super excited to round off the series at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It’s one of my favorite tracks to race at and I’m excited to do it in our Honda Civic Si FE1 this time. The last time I was at the Speedway I was racing in our Skip Barber Race Series in our F4 car, and I managed to win so I’m hoping the same results will show this weekend.” GT4 America
Carter Fartuch & Matt Forbrush - #37 Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo After a difficult weekend at Sebring that saw both races end early as a result of contact from other competitors, Carter Fartuch and Matt Forbrush are eager to rebound at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Fartuch: "Here we go for the last race of the 2023 GT4 season! It has had the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, but these types of years are the ones that make any team ten times stronger. "We look forward to Indy as an optimistic end to the season where we are aiming to end the season just as we started…on the podium. The Skip Barber Racing School team is ready in our Toyota Supra GT4 car and we are looking forward to taking on the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway to end off the season strong. James Klimas - #61 Toyota GR86 The newest member of the Skip Barber Race Team, Klimas will carry the banner in the Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Cup North America series. Klimas: “As a huge race fan I'm super excited to have the opportunity to experience it from the other side, through a different lens, as an actual competitor. This wouldn’t be possible without SBRS, Toyota the medical team at SRO. To visit the iconic “brickyard” alone is on a fan’s bucket list but to actually have the opportunity to drive there is amazing.
