Skip Barber Racing Adds Saverio Striglia III To Toyota GR86 Program

Skip Barber Racing is proud to announce that Saverio Striglia III will join the team’s World Racing League program for the 2026 season. Like many drivers who have risen into the professional ranks with Skip Barber, Striglia has completed multiple days of training with instructors from the Skip Barber Racing School. “The 2026 season represents the inaugural season of my racing career, and I’m excited to be part of a racing team and have the opportunity to participate in something I love doing,” Striglia said. “My racing career started as a Skip Barber student, and I feel the Skip Barber instructors have been instrumental in improving all aspects of my driving skills and preparing me for my World Racing League debut.” For his rookie season, Striglia wants to focus on keeping the car clean and improving his long-run consistency and pace. To prepare for the season, he has been staying sharp on the simulator, and he recently completed multiple days of training in the Toyota GR86 Cup Car. “Getting to know Saverio and his family has been a joy, and I’m thrilled that they will be joining us at Skip Barber Racing this season,” team manager Joe Monitto said. “Saverio has demonstrated a commitment to our process of training and competing. Now it’s time to chase podiums and victories.” The 2026 World Racing League season will begin on February 27 at Barber Motorsports Park. Skip Barber Racing has previously competed in every season of SRO America’s Toyota GR Cup North America since the series began in 2023, but this will mark the team’s first foray into WRL’s GR86 class.
