Skip Barber Racing will commence its 2026 season at Barber Motorsports Park this weekend with a pair of entries in the World Racing League. Five drivers, split across the team’s Aston Martin Vantage GT4 and a Toyota GR Cup car, will compete in a pair of endurance races on Saturday and Sunday. Over the course of the weekend, the team will tackle Barber Motorsports Park’s 2.38-mile, undulating circuit for a total of 15 hours. Former Skip Barber Race Series drivers Logan Anderson and Robert Mosteller will pilot the team’s GTO entry, an Aston Martin Vantage GT4. Anderson and Mosteller made their GT4 racing debut last year at VIRginia International Raceway in the annual Race of Remembrance. This weekend’s WRL event will mark the first race of the season for the two drivers. Anderson will also compete in TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School this season, with support from Empowered Healing. Meanwhile, Saverio Striglia III, Dylan Weber, and Ryan Emani will share an entry in the GP2 class with a Toyota GR Cup car. Their journeys to this weekend are remarkably similar and began like many racing careers do: with a Skip Barber Racing School program. Over the offseason, all three drivers have spent time with instructors in Advanced Coaching sessions to prepare for their racing debut. “I’m so excited for our drivers to continue their journey with Skip Barber Racing School and compete in some wheel-to-wheel action,” Skip Barber Racing Team Manager Joe Monitto said. “It’s great to have Robert and Logan back in the Aston Martin after last year’s Race of Remembrance. Having our Toyota GR Cup entry made up of three drivers who have all progressed and developed through the school programs is incredibly rewarding. We’ve got a lot of racing ahead of us, but we’re ready for it.” This will be the first major event at Barber Motorsports Park since the passing of its founder George W. Barber earlier this month.
