Skip Barber Racing will bring seven cars to Circuit of the Americas this weekend for the next round of the TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School and Toyota GR Cup North America seasons. This weekend's slate of entries includes our 2024 debut in GT4 America with the No. 16 Skip Barber Racing School Aston Martin Vantage GT4 driven by Marc and Tyler Sharinn.
Celso Neto – No. 22 Skip Barber Racing School Acura Integra Type S
In his, and the team’s, first season with the Acura Integra Type S, Neto has been a consistent factor at the sharp end of the TCX class of TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School. With a pair of podium finishes to start the season, Neto is third in the championship standings. Cooper Broll returns to Circuit of the Americas with momentum from Sebring and a strong history at COTA in the Californian’s favor. Last year, Broll matched his season-best finishing position of fourth at COTA and this season, he is off to a rocketing start in his sophomore season with Skip Barber Racing. Alex Garcia will again pull double-duty at Circuit of the Americas, but the Miami-based driver showed he’s more than capable of handling the workload last time out at Sebring International Raceway. Garcia claimed a debut win in the TCA class of TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School and backed it up with his season-best finish in Toyota GR Cup North America later in the day. James Klimas has been steadily progressing in his debut season in Toyota GR Cup North America with his efforts culminating in a top-twenty finish at Sebring International Raceway. Will Lambros is coming off a stellar debut in Skip Barber Racing’s Aston Martin Vantage GT4 at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. After qualifying the car in eighth, Lambros was just as strong in the race, laying down laps consistently quicker than other drivers in the packed field. At Circuit of the Americas, Lambros will return to the seat of the No. 77 Skip Barber Racing School Toyota GR86 where the series rookie has opened the season with a trio of top-twenty finishes. The father-son duo of Marc and Tyler Sharinn will make their debut with Skip Barber Racing in this weekend's four-hour GT4 America race at Circuit of the Americas. The pair have previously competed in Trans-Am, vintage stock cars, and LMP3. Marc Sharinn: "Tyler and I are thrilled to be competing with Skip Barber Racing this weekend.
