Skip Barber Racing will bring a trio of cars entered into two different series to Road Atlanta this weekend. The team’s season-long pursuits in TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School will continue with Dean Lambros and Logan Anderson. This weekend, however, will see Robert Mosteller make his Toyota GR Cup North America debut. Mosteller, a former competitor in the Skip Barber Race Series, is coming off of a podium finish at Road America in Skip Barber Racing’s World Racing League program. Prior to that he competed in a pair of races in Skip Barber Racing’s Aston Martin Vantage GT4. “I’m extremely excited going into the race weekend,” Mosteller said. “I definitely have high expectations for myself and the team. My goal is always to stand on the top step and there’s no discussion on it. My other expectation this weekend is to try and feel as one with the car as possible in the first practice session.” Mosteller’s co-driver for both of his outings in GT4, Logan Anderson, will be competing in TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School. Anderson scored a pair of sixth-place finishes at Sebring and he has one top-five result to his name as his rookie campaign nears the halfway point. “I’m really excited heading to another historic American road course with TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School at Road Atlanta,” Anderson said. “My goals for this race weekend is to maximize every session, continue building momentum and put ourselves in a position to fight. I’m looking forward to working with the team and make the most of every opportunity this weekend.” The final entry for the weekend is that of Dean Lambros, also in TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School. Lambros is just two points behind third-place in the Driver’s Championship and has not finished worse than fifth since the opening race of the season. Last time out at Sebring he earned the Hard Charger Award in Race 1, eventually crossing the line in fourth. “I’m super excited to be back with the Skip Barber Racing team this weekend at Road Atlanta,” Lambros said. “We’re looking to bounce back after a tough Sebring weekend with some wins and I believe we’re in a good spot to get it done!” Race 1 of the TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School event at Road Atlanta is scheduled for 10:35am on Friday, the first race of the SRO America weekend.
