Skip Barber Racing’s SRO America program will take on the penultimate round of the 2026 season with a pair of races at Barber Motorsports Park this weekend. Rookie Logan Anderson is fresh off of a strong showing at Road America where he matched his career-best finish.
The last time that Skip Barber Racing took to Barber in the Acura Integra Type S was 2024 and it yielded a pair of podium finishes, including a victory for the team. After battling on the long straights of Road America, the team is optimistic that the undulating hills in Alabama will provide a more suitable platform for the Acura Integra Type S to perform.
Dean Lambros returns to the grid this weekend. After admirably taking up driver coaching duties at Road America, the young New Yorker will strap into his No. 7 Skip Barber Racing School Acura Integra Type S with renewed energy.
“It was great to work with Logan at Road America and see him finish the weekend on a high note but I’m looking forward to getting back into the car myself,” Lambros said. “The team has worked incredibly hard the past few weeks to prepare the car and I’m excited to get to work. This is a track that we have had success at in the past and I’m confident that we can replicate that this weekend.”
The team will have a busy Thursday with a trio of sessions, including Qualifying to end the afternoon before Race 1 on Friday and Race 2 on Saturday morning. Skip Barber enters this weekend comfortably in third-place in the Team’s Championship standings while another strong weekend from Logan Anderson could see the rookie move into the top-five in the Driver’s Standings.
