Skip Barber Racing will bring seven cars to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the season finale of TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School, Toyota GR Cup North America, GT4 America, and IMSA Mustang Challenge. Across the team’s seven entries, Skip Barber Racing will be represented in four different series with five different types of cars. Cooper Broll – No. 19 PiedParker Acura Integra Type S TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School Cooper Broll will arrive at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with his career-best finish in TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School within reach. The Californian needs only a clean weekend of racing to secure third place in the TCX Driver’s Championship. With four podium finishes in the last six races, Broll is poised to end his 2024 season on a high note at the Brickyard. Cooper: “Indianapolis Motor Speedway is legendary. It’s one of the most well-known tracks in America, and just being there feels incredible. The motorsport history is in the air, and driving Indy is always an insane experience. There’s nothing quite like coming down the front straight, hearing the car noises echo off the stands and crossing the bricks on the NASCAR oval. It’s crazy how fast this season has flown by! It feels like we were just testing at Sonoma, and now we’re at the final leg of TC America. I’ve loved every moment—being on the podium, battling it out. While I’m sad to see this season end, there are some exciting plans for next year!” Celso Neto – No. 22 Skip Barber Racing School Acura Integra Type STC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School It was in Indianapolis last season where Neto scored his break-through win in the TC class of TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School. Fast-forward one year and the Brazilian has added four more victories to his name, all of which have come in the last six races of the season. Hey may have arrived at Indianapolis last year as an underdog but this year, he’s hard to not label the favorite. Celso: “It’s the final race of the year for TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing and I’m excited to finish strong at Indianapolis. It’s a track I really enjoy and has treated us well with a win last year in the final race. This year we’re coming in with a lot of momentum, winning four of the last six races and we’re looking to capitalize on that with the Skip Barber Racing crew and finish the year on a high! I want to thank everyone that has made this year possible; I’m very proud of everyone’s effort.” Alex Garcia – No. 14 Skip Barber Racing School Honda Civic Si FE1, No. 14 Orlando Family Medical Toyota GR86 Cup Car, No. 16 Orlando Family Medical Aston Martin Vantage GT4 (w/ Michael Garcia) Skip Barber Racing School Development Driver Alex Garcia will once again expand his racing portfolio with Skip Barber as the Floridian makes his GT4 America debut alongside his brother, Michael, in the team’s Skip Barber Racing School Aston Martin Vantage GT4. Alex Garcia recently trained with instructors from Skip Barber at Sebring International Raceway in the Aston Martin. Alex’s weekend of racing will culminate in a remarkable Sunday where he will contest three races back-to-back-to-back. Beginning with TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School event in a Honda Civic Si FE1, then the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 for a one-hour race, before finishing his SRO America season with a forty-minute sprint in Toyota GR Cup North America. From 9:35 am to 12:40 pm, Garcia has just forty minutes when he is not slated to be in a race car. Alex: “As this is the final race of the season, I am excited to leave it all on the table. I will be doing a triple stint with GT4 America, Toyota GR Cup North America, and Touring Car Camerica powered by the Skip Barber Racing School. It is going to be a challenging weekend but with our team and instructors, I'm confident we will succeed and bring home some hardware!" James Klimas – No. 61 Middletown Toyota GR86 Cup CarToyota GR Cup North America A return to Indianapolis also means a return to the site of Klimas’ Toyota GR Cup North America debut with Skip Barber Racing. Since then, Klimas has shown a tremendous amount of progress as a driver in the ultra-competitive GR Cup field. Most recently, Klimas improved seven positions at Barber Motorsports Park to earn his season-best finish. He was one spot shy of securing the Hard Charger awarded, being bested only by his teammate, Alex Garcia. James: “Indianapolis Motor Speedway is such a cherished venue and any opportunity to compete at the Brickyard is one that you really have to take in. It’s the last race of the season and with some of the momentum we have from Barber, I’m aiming for a top fifteen finish to end the year. Thank you so much to the team from Skip Barber for all their efforts this season, let’s end it on a high!” Mike Stillwagon – No. 19 Skip Barber Racing School Ford Mustang Dark Horse R The season finale of Mustang Challenge is already upon us and longtime Skip Barber Racing School instructor Mike Stillwagon will enter Indianapolis with a shot at the Dark Horse Legends title. Stillwagon has four podium finishes through the first eight races of the year including a pair of third-place results at Circuit of the Americas. Mike: “It’s been an incredible season in Mustang Challenge with four podiums. The consistency has also been evident and I’m proud to have a top-four finish in every complete race this season. We’re firmly in contention for a second-place finish in Dark Horse Legends and with another clean weekend, I believe we can get there. Of course, I have to thank Karree Larsen and Skip Barber Racing for their continued support this season.”
