The Skip Barber Race Team went through its course of difficulties this past weekend at Sebring International Raceway for Rounds 11 & 12 of TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School. Mike Ogren put the No. 28 Sebring International Golf Course Honda Civic Type-R third in TC class qualifying in his first start of the 2021 season. Eric Powell was set to put the No. 92 Honda Civic Type-R towards the front of the field but a brake failure caused him to DNF out of the qualifying session and miss out on Race 1. Carter Fartuch qualified pole in the TCA class while his teammate Colin Harrison qualified tenth place. 
In Race 1, Ogren was running solid place and setting himself up for a solid finish but a mechanical issue would find him heading to the pits before the end of the race to protect the car. Fartuch also showed impressive pace but traffic affected his race and relegated him back to the fifth-place position. Harrison improved his pace by 3 seconds in the race, gained a position, and finished in ninth-place spot. 
Ogren stepped aside for Race 2 and let Powell take over the wheel of the No. 28 Sebring International Golf Course Honda Civic Type-R to help assist the team’s fight for the championship. Powell had the drive of the race as he started at the back of the field, fought his way through, and finished on the podium in third place. Fartuch went back-to-back with Top 5 finishes and he battled it out for the third-place spot throughout the race. Harrison picked up over a second from his fastest lap time in Race 1 and claimed another Top 10 finish. The Skip Barber Race Team is back in action at this historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course for the final rounds of the TC America Series presented by Skip Barber Racing School that will take place October 14-16.
