Austin, Texas – After enduring extremely adverse weather conditions on Saturday, the sunshine Sunday morning was a breath of fresh air for teams in TC America presented by Skip Barber Racing School. In the TC class, Eric Powell in the #92 Skip Barber Honda had a solid start and got the lead on the outside into turn one. TCX traffic already built up, creating a bit of chaos through the first set of turns. Powell ultimately placed second in Race 2. Lindsay Brewer in the #29 Skip Barber Honda tried to pull off a high-risk move but could not execute it; she ran wide and went off in turn 1 giving up position. However, if she pulled it off, Brewer would have put herself in contention for the podium. Brewer raced in a back-to-back series at COTA; she competed in the Skip Barber Formula Race Series and TC America presented by Skip Barber Racing School. 
Carter Fartuch in #16 TCA Skip Barber Honda started P7 in the grid. He executed an unconventional start to get as good of a start he could, and by turn one, he was up to P3. Mike Stillwagon in #2 Skip Barber Honda gave Fartuch a beautiful push-up, and Carter made a move to second place. Then, at the end of the first lap, he made it first, which he led for a few laps. 
Stillwagon would find himself in a hard battle from the very start of the race, losing his sideview mirror in lap two. He gained position with no pressure from behind and would run smooth and consistent laps to hold onto third place, second place too far in the distance for him to catch before the checkered flag would fly.

"My Crew Chief, Dustin, put a sticker inside my car that said ‘the comeback is greater than the setback’. So yesterday was a huge setback for what happened to me, and the comeback was a lot stronger, so I rubbed that sticker before I went out, and I knew what I had to do." - Carter Fartuch #16While Fartuch was leading, he caught up to the TCX traffic, which, similar to Powell, hurt his pace. Fartuch tried to push hard to stay up front, but between tire degradation, and slight contact with Bacon, Fartuch would give up the lead to the Hyundai. Fartuch stayed right there on Bacon's back bumper, trying his hardest and running some the fastest laps he could, but it just wasn't quite enough. Fartuch placed second.
