Southern California’s Jaysen Cajero will compete in the 2025 Skip Barber Race Series. The 20-year-old from Downey, CA, has already completed training programs at Sebring International Raceway and Circuit of the Americas ahead of his Skip Barber Race Series debut later this spring. Prior to training with the Skip Barber Racing School, Cajero competed in karting and is also an avid sim racer. He is the second driver on the 2025 entry list to compete under the Mexican flag. “I found Skip Barber in a racing magazine,” Cajero explained. “I was reading this magazine about motorsports, and on the back was the Skip Barber Racing School, so I decided to give it a try. After doing the Three Day Racing School at Sebring, I felt so confident in the car and wanted more. So, after the Three Day School, I immediately signed up for the Two-Day Advanced School at Circuit of the Americas,” Cajero said. In addition to racing, Jaysen is currently studying civil engineering at California State University, Long Beach, and is an avid lacrosse player. In 2025, he will be partnered with Needlepoint Embroidery, Empire Foam Innovations, CALEAH, and Señor Cajun. “We’re thrilled to be welcoming Jaysen to the grid in 2025,” said Skip Barber Racing School Chief Marketing Officer Dan DeMonte. “I was able to watch him train recently at Circuit of the Americas, and I know he will make a great addition to our field of drivers. “There are only a few spots left open on the grid before we hit our cap,” DeMonte explained. “This cap on entries, combined with the discipline installed by our world-class instructional staff operating as a spec-series, ensures that the Skip Barber Race Series continues to hold the highest percentage of green flag racing among formula series.” The 2025 Skip Barber Race Series will begin at Sebring International Raceway in April.
