NASCAR– Kyle Busch won the NASCAR Xfinity Series race this past weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. The Skip Barber graduate led the most laps and grabbed the win which was decided in a green-white-checkered finish. Busch’s win at Texas was his 99th win in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, the most wins in Xfinity Series history. 
For the fourth time this season, Skip Barber graduate John Hunter Nemechek grabs the top step of the podium in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. Nemechek dominated the race, led the most laps and held off last year’s Cup series champion, Chase Elliot, to secure the win and maintain his points lead. 
IndyCar– Josef Newgarden represented Skip Barber on the podium in the second race of IndyCar’s doubleheader race weekend at the Detroit Grand Prix. Although he finished one spot short of the win, Newgarden had an outstanding run as he led 67 of 70 laps. The Skip Barber National Series Alum is currently the highest Skip Barber graduate in the IndyCar points standings. 
SRX– The debut race for the Camping World SRX Series saw many motorsports legends behind the wheel. Skip Barber graduates like Helio Castroneves, Tony Kanaan, and Marco Andretti competed in the Skip Barber supported SRX Series race at Stafford Motor Speedway. Four-time Indy 500 champion, Castroneves would be the highest finishing Skip Barber alum finishing in fourth-place.
